We proudly offer Valentine Nebraska and the Mission-Rosebud and surround areas the area's only qualified laser therapy designed especially for speeding the recovery time, reducing pain and inflammation, and to promote healing. We offer a no-drug, no-surgery option to help our pets recover and find relief from their ailments. Each therapy sessions is specifically designed to suit each individual pet's exact needs.

Laboratory!

We're the first in the area to offer an in-house diagnostic lab. Our advanced diagnostic laboratory eliminates the need to wait for results. We proudly offer the following services in-house: serum chemistry, hematology, serology, cytology, histology, urinalysis, bacterial and fungal culturing, and both internal and external parasite testings. In addition to our extensive in-house laboratory, we partner closely with several university laboratories for consulting and advanced testing.

For Your Pet's Safety!

Before surgery even starts, our pre-anesthetic work up allows our experienced veterinarians to determine the best anesthetic protocol for each individual pet. Their safety is paramount to us! Our advanced monitoring equipment, along with a trained assistant, conducts full monitoring of all vital signs before, during, and after surgery. Our surgical suite is equipped with Valentine's most complete monitoring equipment, temperature control, and IV fluid pumps.

For Contagious Diseases.

Our Isolation Ward houses patients in a completely separate wing of the hospital. This ensures that contagious and infections diseases are not transmitted to other animals. Our patients are under our experienced veterinarians' dedicated care seven days and nights a week. Valentine and the Mission-Rosebud areas have a pandemic of Parvo and Distemper cases. With dedicated care and prompt, early treatment, success for these cases is relatively high.

Your pet's prescription therapies and flea/tick and heartworm prevention can be found here in Valentine. Our veterinarians are happy to go over potential side effects of mixing over-the-counter and prescription pet medication. In addition to your pet's safety, your pet's happiness and comfort are our top concerns. We are happy to discuss pain management and behavioral issues that many times arise with old age. Our spacious kennel suites are completed with plush bedding to offer the utmost comfort! Play time is encouraged with both indoor and outdoor activities tailored to each pet! Our individualized activities include special one-on-one attention from our caring team members. Toys are specially chosen to give each pet the mental and physical exercise they desire!

Our spacious tiled runs with tempered glass doors are furnished with raised beds, plush blankets, and rugs. Each pet gets to choose their toys to keep with them in their suite during their rest and relaxation times. Our kennels are designed to accommodate whole families with more than enough room for even the largest Great Danes and Mastiffs!

Yards for Outdoor Play!

Our extensive yards allows for all of the running, romping, playing, and fetching your pet can handle! Our yards feature ForEver Lawn, an artificial turf specifically designed for pets! This turf has anti-microbial technology manufactured into each blade. It's woven surface is also ideal for pets recovering from surgery, injured, or elderly pets that need more secure footings. Our yards are completely with tons of toys, beds, and pools to keep your pet entertained!

Offer Unlimited Fun!

Each pet is encouraged to play outside as much as possible, weather permitting! Play time with close friends and family members is encouraged to keep all pets active. New toys are provided daily to ensure that all pets enjoy their time as much as possible. Our yards also offer a place to take it all in and relax on doggy hammocks. Our mature shade trees keep your pet cool even on the hottest days and help shield our yards from the snows that come in the winter!

Barn and Boarding

Butler Veterinary Clinic's Equine facilities offer both live-cover and artificial insemination services. Our reproductive laboratory allows us to ensure that your mare has the best possible conditions for reproduction. We have three independent barns, allowing us to separate cases as needed.
